W końcu jest - pierwszy kompletny album koncertowy amerykańskich pionierów progressive metalu - Fates Warning - od prawie dwóch dekad. W sumie dostajemy 23 utwory o łącznym czasie 138 minut. "Live Over Europe” zawiera materiał nagrany w takich miejscach, jak: Aschaffenburg / Niemcy, Belgrad / Serbia, Saloniki i Ateny / Grecja, Rzym i Mediolan / Włochy, Budapeszt / Węgry i Ljubljana / Słowenia. W styczniu 2018 r. zespół promował album "Theories Of Flight". Skład koncertowy FW przedstawiał się następująco: Ray Alder (wokal), Jim Matheos (gitara), Joey Vera (bas i wokal), Bobby Jarzombek (perkusja) i Mike Abdow (gitary i śpiew).
"Live Over Europe" został zmiksowany w szwedzkim Fascination Street Studios. Za brzmienie odpowiada Jens Bogren (Opeth, Kreator, Symphony X, Haken). Mastering wykonał Tony Lindgren.
