"Werkschau" | CD | Melotron

Unabashed clapping together "Lieblose 'Best Of'-compilations and throw it in for a quick profit, is boring..." is what the charismatic Melotron-front man Andy K. thought and round up his guys, with the idea a work display of the beloved, German Synth-Pop-group should have a bit more style, as such disimpassioned sorry effforts. To not just build an adequate monument for the previous work, but also to lay a cornerstone for the future of Melotron, the band decided to give the selection of the best pieces and picked fan-favourites a complete new, modern raiment, which perfectly combines old and new. For this goal Melotron sat together with the famous producer Dirk Riegner (among others Heppner), coloured their "Werkschau" with lively new recordings a complete general overhaul and also recorded a few new songs, among it the hit single "Stuck In The Mirror" or the Pop-hymn "Love Is Calling". But also the big band hits like the impulsive club song "Brüder", which was recorded again in duet with In-Strict-Confidence-singer Dennis Ostermann, are represented on the album in the up to now unheard, new versions.
For real fans "Werkschau" is also available as deluxe 2-CD version, with a second disc filled with curiosities from the band history. Of course also these little gems shine in completely new remastered brilliance and won't just stir up the blood of the die-hard Melotroniians. Subsequently the band goed into the studio again, to converse the future into action. And who knows where the trip takes Melotron this time. One can take a great foretaste on "Werkschau"!
