Deine Lakaien pojawili się na scenie w połowie lqt 80 . Już pierwszy album przyniósł im sukces, ale przełomem okazał się wydany w 1999 roku album "Kasmodiah". Krążek był na niemieckiej liście sprzedaży przez 11 tygodni. Dotarł do 4. miejsca, najwyższego w historii zespołu. Deine Lakaien nie spoczęli jednak na laurach. Wydany w 2014 r. "Crystal Palace" ponowie zaspokoił oczekiwania fanów.
Zespół może z dumą spoglądać na swoją długą historię. Czteropłytowy box "XXX. The 30 Years Retrospective" to pretekst do świętowania trzech dekad na scenie.
