Trzeci album Behemoth "Pandemonic Incantations" ukazał się w 1998 r. i stanowił duży krok w artystycznym rozwoju ekipy Nergala. W składzie zadebiutował Inferno (Azararth, Witchmaster), który od tej pory stał się siłą napędową numerów Behe. Do klasyki przeszedł utwór "Chwała mordercom Wojciecha (997-1997 dziesięć wieków hańby)".
